At JINSHE, we believe that light is never merely functional — it is the most intimate, emotive architectural element within a home. It governs the cadence of a room, softens the boundaries of living spaces, and cradles the quiet moments that define contemporary life.
Operating under Arden Lume LLC, our studio creates lighting fixtures rooted in the philosophy of Quiet Luxury and Wabi-Sabi — an aesthetic grounded in material authenticity, tactile richness, and the understated poetry of organic imperfection. We deliberately reject mass-produced plastic uniformity in favor of living, breathing raw materials that age with grace.
The 7 Master Materials of JINSHE
1. Natural Spanish Alabaster
Quarried in the historic river basins of Aragon, Spain. Each slab is hand-cut and sealed to preserve its natural amber, grey, and golden mineral veins. Emits a warm, non-glare translucent glow with 100% unique patterns.
2. Artisan Japanese Washi Paper
Handcrafted using 100% natural mulberry (Kozo) inner bark fibers in traditional Mino and Echizen craft workshops. Delivers a soft, meditative light dispersion that calms modern interior sanctuaries.
3. High-Tensile DuPont™ Tyvek®
Engineered for sculptural cloud-like forms (such as our Tense collection). 100% recyclable, tear-resistant, moisture-proof, and resilient across extreme temperature shifts without losing architectural grace.
4. Natural Porous Travertine
Raw geological travertine stone carefully sculpted while celebrating its natural earthy cavities and tactile irregularities. A centerpiece of Japandi and organic minimalist living.
5. Organic Cocoon Silk Resin
Formed over lightweight structural steel frames, creating translucent, ethereal membranes that diffuse light like morning mist across residential dining and living canopies.
6. Solid Architectural Brass
Heavy-gauge, unlacquered solid brass gravity-cast and precision-finished by hand. Protected with micro-beeswax to develop an authentic living patina that enriches with every decade.
